Description
BASIC PURPOSE: To provide security, safety and protection for all guests, employees, property and casino assets. TYPICAL FUNCTIONS include the following (other duties may be assigned): To be observant of situations that could potentially result in problems to our guest and employees or property, such as crimes or injuries. Performs security functions to include, monitoring of alarms and reporting of disorder on the casino premises. Documents events as appropriate in shift log, incident reports, lost and found logs, etc. Observes and reports safety hazards. To provide professional customer service to all our guests. Provides escorts as necessary for customers and employees. Need to assist with and escort all payouts. Need to check all incoming packages, backpacks and not to allow any camera, cell-phones and headsets to be used in the casino area. To be a good team player so there is no communication breakdown. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Conducts security checks throughout casino property. Shall perform all and any lawful duties required by the General Manager, Gaming Commission or other Casio Managers To check all identification on suspected minors prior to admittance to gaming area. Need to check all incoming packages, backpacks and not allow any camera, cell phones and headsets to be used in the casino table games area. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. May be required to attend CPR and First Aid training. A valid driver’s license is preferred. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Prefer some law enforcement or security knowledge, but not necessary. Will provide on the job training. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Employee must be able to communicate well with employees and customers. Written communications skills required in preparing reports and casino documents. Use of two-way radio communications required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to know basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to think quickly and respond to situations as arise and be able to maintain composure in emergency situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain a gaming license through Taos Pueblo Gaming Commission.
