BASIC PURPOSE:

Repairs and maintains the facility equipment such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) units, ice machines, refrigerators, grills, burners, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.

TYPICAL FUNCTIONS include the following (other duties may be assigned):

· Ability to work with little supervision.

· Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.

· Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

· Repairs or replaces defective parts.

· Performs all preventative maintenance on the facility’s equipment to ensure their proper operation.

· Repairs electrical equipment.

· Installs special functional and structural parts in equipment and devices.

· Lubricates and cleans parts in necessary equipment.

· Maintains logs on the HVAC units, ice machines, generator, deli equipment, and emergency exit lights to track their maintenance and repair to ensure their proper operation.

· Performs light to medium construction and plumbing.

· Assists all departments with general labor.

· Performs housekeeping duties when necessary.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Adheres to company policies for delivering exceptional guest service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

· Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

· Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide into units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

· Certified recovery license, licensed HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, communication (any kind).

· Qualify for insurability to operate Company vehicles.

· Must have a valid New Mexico Driver’s License and/or State, Tribal Government ID.
